any way to make 16:9 in post

hi is there any hope to make 16:9 in post may be by premiere stuff like that i mean real 16:9 and i mean if i shoot normal 4:3

but why bother? be a rebel. use 4:3 and show those pony-tailed roll-neck wearing nouveau poor idiots that a good story and good direction will more than make up for a couple of black bands pasted over the picture.

You can try this : Crop your image to 720x405 then resize without constrain proportions to 720x576 and set pixel aspect to 1.422 thats for PAL.
